SH2500 shear locks are designed for 90° degree swing door applications. It is small, designed to be installed 'recessed' into the top of the door and into the door frame. This lock operates on 12VDC to 24VDC with no residual magnetism. A temporary high 1.2A rush current sucks up the plate then returns it to a normal 0.2A current position after 2 seconds. Ensure the gap in between the magnet and armature plate attracting surface is within 3mm so the lock can function.

Installation Note
Post Install Check: The gap between the maglock and armature plate needs to be within 3mm to enable functionality.
