Description

This Kantech ioSmart Tag uses AES 128-bit encryption based on MIFARE Plus EV1 format for authentication, data integrity protection and encryption between the credential and ioSmart Smart Readers. These smart credentials can provide identification, authentication and store information on the cards using the microchip and memory embedded within them. These keytags are durable and designed to keep sensitive information safe. Encryption keys prevent data from being emitted until the smart key and reader mutually authenticate each other, differentiating them from a standard proximity authentication. Beyond access control through the use of radio-frequency technologies, customers can use the ioSmart Smart Tags additional unlocked sectors for third party applications such as vending, cafeteria, bus/train, etc.*
