Description
This is top specification solid Copper cable with a very thin covering of 'solder'. It is the opposite construction of cheap CCA (Copper-Coated- Aluminium).
Solid Copper' Tinned' advantages are:
* It is designed to resist oxidisation/ corrosion in moist or 'salty' environments.
* It has no voltage drop or impedence along long runs, the opposite to CCA.
* It is easy to solder when required.
* This cable is more flexible whereas CCA can be 'brittle'.
This Tycab cable is certified to be in compliance with the requirements of Best Environmental Practice Guidelines PVC v2.0 2022 (BEP2.0) from the Vinyl Council of Austrialia. Accreditation is valid through to July 2027.
