This is top specification solid Copper cable with a very thin covering of 'solder'. It is the opposite construction of cheap CCA (Copper-Coated- Aluminium).
Solid Copper' Tinned' advantages are:
* It is designed to resist oxidisation/ corrosion in moist or 'salty' environments. Think external siren cables.
* It has no voltage drop or impedence along long runs, the opposite to CCA.
* It is easy to solder when required.
